It is expected that the bearing package cannot be opened before installation. Generally, lubricating grease should be kept moist. If not cleaned, add lubricating grease immediately. Lubricating grease wetting generally does not require cleaning, but for equipment or high-speed bearings, if cleaning oil is needed, remove the rust proof oil applied to the bearing. Bearings with rust proof oil removed are prone to rusting and cannot be placed.

Secondly, bearings that have been sealed in lubricating grease will not be cleaned immediately. The installation method of bearings varies depending on the standards such as bearing structure and mutual coordination. Generally speaking, due to the significant rotation of the shaft, the inner hole must be fitted in a transitional manner. Cylindrical hole bearings should be stamped or hot installed. The position of the conical hole must be immediately installed on the terminal shaft or sleeve specification.

When installed on the shell, there are usually many side seams and additional gaps on the outside, so it is usually pressed in or installed after cold shrinkage. Using liquid nitrogen as a coolant, the moisture in the compressed air condenses on the surface of the bearing. Therefore, appropriate rust prevention measures should be taken. The installation of bearings generally requires specialized tools such as bearing electric heaters.
