1. Features of IMX Self-Aligning Ball Bearings
IMX self-aligning ball bearings can withstand large radial loads and a certain amount of axial loads simultaneously. The outer ring raceway of this type of bearing is spherical, which gives it self-aligning performance. When the shaft is bent or tilted under force—causing the centerline of the inner ring to be misaligned with that of the outer ring by no more than 1° to 2.5°—the bearing can still operate normally.
The inner bore of IMX self-aligning ball bearings is available in two types: cylindrical and tapered. The taper ratio of the tapered inner bore is either 1:12 or 1:30. To enhance the bearing’s lubrication performance, an annular oil groove and three uniformly distributed oil holes are machined on the outer ring.
2. Structure of IMX Self-Aligning Ball Bearings
IMX self-aligning ball bearings with dust covers or sealing rings are pre-filled with an appropriate amount of grease during assembly. They should not be heated or cleaned before installation, and no re-lubrication is required during operation. These bearings are suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -30°C to +120°C.

IMX self-aligning ball bearings are mainly used in precision instruments, low-noise motors, automobiles, motorcycles, and general machinery. They are a widely used type of bearing in the machinery industry.
